Jesus presents the parable of the tenants. The owner of a vineyard entrusts its care to workers, expecting to receive the fruits of their labor. However, they forget that the vineyard does not belong to them and refuse to hand over what is due to the owner. This parable invites us to reflect on how we are caring for the gifts God has entrusted to us: our family, our faith, our talents, and our community. But it also reminds us of something very important: our actions speak louder than our words.

As Christians, we are called to set an example—not merely by saying we believe in God, but by demonstrat- ing our faith through our actions. Children learn from what they see in their parents; our peers observe how we treat oth- ers; and our community discovers God's love through the way we live. Setting a good example means acting honestly, speaking respectfully, forgiving, helping those in need, and fulfilling our responsibilities—even when no one is watch- ing. It is not about being perfect, but about striving each day to live according to Jesus' teachings. God has entrusted a vineyard to us: our lives and the people who are part of them. What fruits are we producing? Are we sowing love, pa- tience, generosity, and faith, or are we allowing selfishness and indifference to take their place? This week, let us re- member that every small act of kindness can be a seed that bears good fruit in another person's heart. Let us be the ex- ample of the faith we wish to see in others, and let us offer God the fruits of a life lived with love. Action for this week Choose a concrete way to set a good example: help someone without being asked, speak kindly, offer forgiveness, or dedicate time to pray with your family. Remember that the best way to teach God's love is to live it every day. (ZG)

(ZG)
