St. Catherine's active Music Ministry includes the Sanctuary Choir, Grace Notes Choir, individual cantors and Spanish Mass Coro. We would love to welcome you as a new member!
Sanctuary Choir practices on Mondays at 6 PM in the church, singing at the 9:30 AM Mass and/or at select 5 PM Saturday Masses.
Grace Notes Choir is open to all young singers from grade three to grade eight, and practices on the third Sunday of the month immediately following the 9:30 AM Mass. This choir sings at the fourth Sunday 9:30 AM Masses and may participate in special parish functions.
A cantor and organist typically covers one English Mass per week, usually Saturday evening.
Our choirs participate in special community musical events including our Annual Veteran’s Day program, throughout the year. These events often include members from other Church choirs and from the community. If you are interested in joining us for these special events, please contact our Music Director, Therese Holladay.
The Spanish Mass Coro, led by Vulfrano Gomez practices one night a week. They sing every Sunday at the 11:30 AM Spanish Mass.

Boys and girls who have received their First Communion are eligible to assist the priest at the liturgy. Our Knights of Columbus also serve as Altar Servers once a month. Please contact the church office for more information.
First Friday from 9 AM to 10 AM in the church the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is also available in our chapel 24 hours a day, as long as Mass is not being celebrated. Registered parishioners are welcome to stop by the church office to receive a code for the chapel.
Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.
Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. Parishioners are invited to attend their meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 PM in the St. Francis Room.
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Catherine Labouré Parish. They meet at 6 PM on the First Monday of July, September, November, January, March, and May in our St. Michael Multipurpose Room. Your input at the meetings is always welcome!
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass. Friendly faces and great smiles are always welcome to join our ministry! Please contact the church office to become a greeter.
Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Please see the information in our Religious Education section.
Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. If you would like to become an usher, please contact the church office.
Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
All women are welcome! We meet on the first Tuesday of each month in the hall at 10 AM. Our Ladies group hosts an annual Arts and Crafts show in November, and a bi-annual rummage sale. All men are welcome! Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 7 PM in the hall.
We sponsor a monthly parish breakfast in the hall beginning at 8 AM on the second Sunday of each month.
We host a blood drive for United Blood Services three times a year, and participate in an annual Tootsie Roll drive. We also serve as Altar Servers once a month during Mass.
In addition, our 4th Degree Council (Bishop Francis J. Green Assembly) meets at 7 PM on the third Monday of every month in the St. Michael Multipurpose Room.
Our group meets to put together small craft items that are distributed to homebound members of our parish, Meals on Wheels participants, People Who Care participants and the men and women who live in our local VA Hospital domiciliary. Please check the church calendar for the dates we will be meeting.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. We also have several EM's who have received additional training as a Minister of Care and take the Body of Christ to the sick and homebound. We meet for support, friendship and the affirmation of our role as Catholic families, and to provide spiritual, social and developmental opportunities for our families. We do this through the ministry of Children's Liturgy of the Word on the fourth Sunday of the month 9:30 AM Mass, quarterly family dinner and movie nights, and sponsoring our yearly summer Vacation Bible School (VBS). Our Just Coffee group offers delicious, shade grown, organic coffee for sale after the Masses on the third Sunday of the month (and after the preceding Saturday night Mass) in the hall. Stop by and try a cup for free - you won't be sorry! One-pound packages of regular or decaf in ground or beans are available for purchase. The money from the sale of this coffee helps support a co-op in Chiapas, Mexico. Proceeds from our sales are used to help support our St. Vincent de Paul chapter.
A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group is lead by a member of our Finance Council and volunteers about once a month. If you would be interested in this ministry, please contact the church office.
Our St. Vincent de Paul Chapter meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at 9 AM in our St. Michael Multipurpose Room. We always need volunteers! Please let us know if you are interested in helping! If you need assistance, our phone number is 928-899-2030.
Our ministry has been formed to ensure that when there is a funeral at St. Catherine's, we have a Catholic presence at the Mass. Sadly, we have had several funerals where the only person in attendance who was Catholic, other than the deceased, was our priest. If you would like more information about this ministry, please contact the office.
We provide a luncheon for the families of registered parishioners when a funeral is held here at St. Catherine's. For more information, please contact the church office.
